My research interests focus on computational solid mechanics, nonlinear finite element method, dynamics of mechanical systems, numerical methods and their applications in aerospace and defence industry. Typical applications include space tethers, aerial refuelling systems, aerial cable towed instruments, aircraft/ship dynamic interface analysis, naval shock analysis and design, underwater cable towed systems, robotics. |
